Our product is a magazine produced by ‘girls simply for girls’. It is being piloted in North Belfast and its unique selling point is twofold – it’s ‘free’ to the girls but the potential increase in revenue for organisations and employers who sponsor it is ‘great’.
The content is ‘girly’ with lots of tips, gossip and other more serious information relevant to the intended
reader. There are an estimated 1500 girls in the target market and distribution will include post-16 students in
schools, leisure centres, libraries, youth centres etc.
In the longer term we believe that the basic concept of F6M could be easily adapted to meet the needs of girls and potential sponsors in any region throughout the country.
Also we are currently exploring the possibility of producing an on-line version that would enhance its appeal and increase market share. This would improve efficiency by reducing costs and improving quality as well as our carbon footprint.
We have photographs taken during the process of the first issue here.
